You mean power-links? That's funny because I remember a few that were "impossible" to remove. I had needle nose pliers in there and was trying to "squeeze" the links together so it would pop free, but it just did not happen no matter how hard I tried. I'd guess that they don't have a big tolerance on those things to work with.UiUiUiUi said:2003 is a different story.

SRAM is cool for innovation, but as far as durability, reliability, and lifespan it's been playing catch-up to shimano since forever. They may have finally caught up or are close with their new stuff, but there's plenty of "old" high end SRAM stuff out there that is just trash. It just didn't "keep tickin" like shimano.
My sram 9.0 front derailer died 2 nights ago I guess I got good life out of it, so I didn't include it in my "bad" list, but I have to wonder if a shimano would have just given up and cracked at the pivots....
