How are the UCSC trails after the little showers this week? I really want to get out and ride the bike since I haven't even touched her for a long long long time. Thinking of coming up Sunday.

Brian, you free this weekend? Sorry I didn't make GGG.. I didn't quite have a way to get my bike there. Time to invest in a rack of some sort.

trails are muuudddy. if we wait a week they will be perfect. 7 day forcast says no rain for a while! its no mud like the GGG but you'll get soaking wet

De La doesn't handle the rain nearly as well as UC does. You *might* be able to session the hip jumps, but I'd hate to see the lips get all hacked up though...

Last time I checked Da La ( the dirt jumps ) had been plowed flat by the golf course guys???
I live in Monterey and was in SC a couple of weekends back, could have changed I guess.

They did, but a couple hips were made where the drops and the big wallride are. Theres also a natural quater pipe and a new smaller wall ride. I was there on Monday and everything was hitable.

yeah de la turns in to a downhill river ride when it rains
its fun if you have a warm dry set of cloths at the bottom and a slave helper monkey to clean your bike.

I rode ucsc yesterday, It wasnt to muddy at all, but i only went on one trail. it was pretty sunny out too. but today, its kinda dark out. not to bad ;D

campers and the other trail over there are fine. sweetness, carpets, and the others have some slick spots but yeah they arent bad. Not as if your ever going to actually make it down here D...
