I saw one on my way to work this morning actually. Perfect setup too, fork on backwards, bar ends pointing straight up, and they still hadn't figured out how to re-connect the front brake. Beautiful piece of machinery!
They did really have a high end bike or two I don't think anybody bought them, nevertheless they did offer a bike or two in the $1000 range as far as I knew. Maybe it was only offered overseas as commented above, it seems like they had a BMX bike that actually wasn't too bad, in fact guys were buying them and taking off the stickers according to one local shop.

Your right, way back when they even made a Ti mtn bike (or had someone else make it). Maybe someone else recalls but they had some photos in MBA or something like that in the mid 90's.
Hahah at our shops its more Mongooses than Huffys. Today someone brought a bike in with the wheel in backwards and the bike had discs (It was a Mongoose X1100) so the rotor was on the other side than the caliper. They said the front brake didn't work  It had 9 spd Deore too...
