I have a Weyless 67 and it has a Cane Creek S2 headest on it, thing is practically brand new, and I had to take my fork off it to ship it home from school and when I got home I was re assembling it and the upper race snapped. Is there anyway to replace that or do I have to buy a whole new headset? Same thing on the chris king headset on my dhr except it didnt break and its the lower race. Where can I get them and who has the easiest way to install them?

I tried to contact chris king but they would only sell me the lower bearing race, which is more then i need and its 35 bucks instead of like 10 for just the race.

It seems like the upper race on my S2 headset was split so that it could compress and bite into the steertube when the headset is tightened.. It also seems like I remember seeing some CK headsets that had a split lower race so it would be easier to pry the race off. I've never seen a headset race just crack. Maybe I'm just making up stuff but I swear I've seen races that are intentionally split, at least on cartridge bearing headsets.
