So after trying every tire know to man on my XC bike, I finally settled on Python Gold Elites with the Stan's tubeless setup. I've found this combo to work well for my local conditions and has been reliable. So I go to buy some new tires and they don't make them anymore. Does anybody know which tire is comparable to the Gold Elites of yesteryear? Is it the Airlites? Will those work with Stan's? Or should I go with the UST version? Can you mount a UST tire on a standard rim??

In another completely unrelated rant, if you are selling a fork, on eBay or anywhere else, you MUST identify whether the steerer has been cut, and if so, how much is left in inches. Failure to do so will result in immediate death by fire.

nope.......I run the system 2 (w/tubes)

fyi: last year I tried the python airs, but they seemed pretty "wimpy" > ok on the front, but terrible on the rear
