Hydraulic brake lines

OK...I'm changing over to discs, never used them before. I am refinishing the frame and I've just hacked off the v mounts (no turning back). Is there any way of modifying a pair of the top tube cable stops to hold the brake line? If there isn't, is there any way of holding the line down that looks cleaner than cable ties? Theres a cable holder on the seat stay, but I wont be brazing any of those onto an aluminum frame! What do I do?

If you look around there are clamps made my Problem Solvers which will hold a brake hose and mounts to the existing cable stops. They also make stick on plastic bosses but I've yet to see a bike were these stay stuck for long.

I used those Problem solvers from QBP. They work well and allow the hose to float a bit which could be good or bad. Stick on plastic thingies are best used w/ cable ties for any sort of permanence. I epoxied one onto my carbon fork guard for the hose... holding so far.

Dril out the closed end of the existing ones and run the cables through them.

I havent actually seen this done, though I have herad of it.
I did it. It works well. Just remember to round all sharp edges to keep the hose from kinking. Works much better than the Problem Solvers I took off. Keep an extra olive in your toolbox and you won't have any problems.

I thought of that, then I figured if I did that I would have to learn how to bleed them. One step at a time! Thanks for all the advice. I willask Uncle Google about problemsolvers.
