No baseball cards in the spokes ?

About how is it ?
It's a 1966.

It's in about a 7 (close to 8) out of 10 condition. The electric light and horn both work.

how many restoration jobs do you have now?
This is my second but it's not a restore, it's ride as is. :)
I may get a new shiney chain and some whitewall tires but that is all.

An idea: you could make it a fixie; toss on drop bars, lighter cranks, new rear wheel, and seat. That would destroy the fixie-indie hipsters at the coffee shops.

Like the cruiser a lot, that thing is great. Congrats!

Yeah I thought so.
It has a super strange flex in the headset when I turn the wheel to one side. I'm going to have to tear it apart and take a look at it. Other than that "she's a beaut Clark!"

The bearings are probably shot, or at minimum need repacking. You should probably repack the grease in the bottom bracket and hub bearings.

Wow... just realized I haven't had a bike with loose bearings in 20 years...

Yeah I'll probably just buy new bearings for the BB.

I just need 1hr of free time to rip the bike part.

Congrats on the nice cruiser.

While you are getting dirty - check the hubs. When I bought my 60's Columbia the grease in every set of bearings - including the hubs - had turned into some sort of dry, chunky paste.

Yeah I'll probably do that as well. I hate tearing the rear hub apart, I can never seem to get it back together properly.

So, are you going to race on that at Stewart on the 9th?
The only racing I'll be doing is to the porcelain god after my bachelor party the night before!

I'd bet it would be marked by then & you wouldnt need a map
Actually it's already marked out.

BETH and ROB if I didn't just give you both approval ratings to help pull you out of the red I would give you BOTH a disapproval rating for not knowing you way around Stewart and have a horrible sense of direction.

Go get lost!

I told you...without a map I can't find my way out of a paper bag. :eviltongu

Is the trail part of the DH40 trail off of the 208 entrance or is it a different part?
