Honestly I have no special love for Brown but I have a strong urge not to vote for Meg based solely on the fact that she is essentially making an attempt at buying the governorship of CA.

I trust someone who pays their own way not to be beholden to those who pay your way, like say... the public employees unions.

I also trust someone who has proven that they can run a successful business to run what is in effect a large, not for profit conglomerate, than someone who has been milking said state for income for the last 40 years.

Why? Because someone is so dedicated to their cause, that they are willing to spend 20% of their net worth to see their goals? I sure trust that person a lot more than the guy spending MY money, and the money of those who want to TAKE MY money to see his goals fulfilled.

In comparison, Carl Paladino spent 3 million to win the NY Republican primary, compared to Rick Lazio's 2 million.

I have had more than a few conversations with her when she was at eBay due to a prior job. From my actual 1-1 interactions with her? Yes.

Earning your title, I see.

Or she knows the return on that investment will be vastly greater than the 20%-25% she can earn even with well-invested diverse portfolio.
