Original miles, original GTI (first year made). I can't wait to start working on it.

I believe you spelled some words in that sentence wrong....isn't it "wrecking in it" and not "working on it"?
Be sure to post the "After" pictures.
It's Volkswagen, you'll be tired of working on it soon.
i'd rather ride a bike than drive that.
you better have those flares with you!
So did you at least get a cut of the commission?
Remember to use unleaded fuel in it.
I drove a 1979 Rabbit (not a GTi) for over 300,000 miles - far and away one of the most fun cars I ever owned. I eventually blew the engine and replaced it with a Vanagon engine mated to the same five speed transmission... way too much power for the soft suspension but a total kick in the ass to drive. My total purchase & repair investment for the car (bought used) was under $4000.00.
From what I remember the first generation Rabbits where pretty much trouble free.
It's not a MKIV, so take care of the fvcking thing.
how's the VW sales gig going?
I'm guessing PSP is the only one in the dealership's history to have achieved both Employee of the Month and Most Preferred Customer status simultaneously.
Or set a record for that dealership for quickest fired.
Yeah - "original miles"... except that the odometer has been broken and repaired at LEAST 4 times. So add another 60K to that.
That's kind of like the little white speck on top of chicken sh*t saying. Poor kid.
Is that an 83' or 84'?
When you gonna throw a roof rack on there for your dirtbike?
thats an 83
i like MK I GTI's! real fun cars. congratulations.
nothing about that car looks new to me
I knew it was gonna be a bitchbucket.
I seriously hope you didn't pay what people ask for those these days...
You suck at driving.
FWD means Front Wheel Drive, no?
hooray for understeer!
I thought the R32 was supposed to be AWD.
it is, but that vw isn't one.
R32 still understeers like a pig on rollerskates. You try putting a gigantic 6-cyl in a transverse FWD-based econobox and see where it gets you...
You must "suck as a driver".
I really want to get it on the road legally. I took the car for a test drive and the previous owner kept his plates. I have to get used to the pedals being so close together. When I wear boots I just clear the gas and clutch when braking and tap the brake when pressing the clutch. I definitely have to get used to the lack of power steering. Today I am taking out the whole interior to being reupholstering. Come spring (warmer weather or shop time) I will start the metal work on the body. I am having a friend of mine do the painting as a favour.
Is this MMike or DaPeach?
what is so special about that kind of car?
You get to say you drive in "das auto"
It is special because it was the first year they made the GTI for the states. I also just really like the car so it is special to me.
As he drives his "sports" car, that's awesome.
Just get some fanboi race shoes and go full retard.
Can you drive Heel-Toe?
"2001. Sean Penn. I Am Sam. Went full retard......went home empty handed."
