She's the type of nurse that has dreamed her entire life of having to give a sexy spongebath to some rugged downhill mountain biker (much like yourself) who has broken his arm on the way to glory.Jeremy R said:What type of nurse?

Temporarily. I took a consulting job that was going to pay me very well for 4-6 weeks. Shortly after I took it, I was offered a full time job here. I couldn't turn down the full time job since the consulting bit was so short term, so I figured I'd just suck it up and finish out the consulting job while working.SkaredShtles said:So why did you move there? If you are say, 40% geek compared to BV, then you are still approx 600% more geek than most of the people on RM.antimony said:Yes, I'm a bit of a science geek...but not half as much of a dork as BV!

Haha! I would say I'm about 1% the geekiness of BV, so only slightly more geeky than most. But I serve beer, so I'm a well-rounded nerd.H8R said:If you are say, 40% geek compared to BV, then you are still approx 600% more geek than most of the people on RM.
Welcome to the trainwreck!
Bwaaaaaahha. Famous last words. As a consultant, what you should've done when they offered you a full time position was declined and asked for more money from your consulting company. You gotta play the game, man.... play the game.binary visions said:Temporarily. I took a consulting job that was going to pay me very well for 4-6 weeks. It's pretty rough, but I should be done in less than 2 weeks and I've banked some of the cushion I had that was depleted in the move.

Last year she told me she was buying me something, and I told her I wanted a hint. She told me "42" was my hint.
You know what "42" is? It's the molecular weight of propane, and the present was a gas grill. Please note that she came up with the molecular weight of propane off the top of her head.
That's hardcore nerdage right there

Good thing it wasn't the molecular weight of chilled pot smoke, you might have gotten some cheesy rainbow colored bong.binary visions said:You know what "44" is? Well, I don't know if you were wrong. What's worse, the fact that she gave me the hint, or the fact that I figured out what the hint meant without her telling me?loco said:I didn't even imagine people could get more nerdy than you, but I was wrong.
