My new Maxxis Goldspeed tires came mounted up to the Husqvarna TC 570 supermoto bike that I bought a week or so ago. I got it for less than most of you paid for your bicycles. I also have a Yamaha R1, but it was recently stolen. After it got stolen (it was recently recovered, but it was wrecked), I figured it would be a while till the insurance company got me a new bike, so I decided to get a supermoto bike. I have wanted one now for a year or so. All I had to do to come up with the coin was sell everything that I owned. Thanks to anyone who bought something from me. The money went to a good cause.
I have yet to take it to a track, but I have had a blast tearin' it up around residential neighborhoods, commercial parking lots, and whatnot. Right now it has slicks and is not street legal. It is also not registered for street use. I was told by the previous owner that the pipe was too loud and wouldn't pass the noise restrictions. I got it with the lighting kit, but haven't installed them yet.
I am having so much fun on this thing, I just might sell my R1 when I finally get it back. This new bike is also a lot slower (top speed), so I hope to get into a bit less trouble with the law and get into fewer high speed chases. I also think this will make for a good training tool for myself. My arms are way sore from riding this thing, and I have yet to take it on the dirt.
Right now I am trying to buy some leather, MX boots, and a MX helmet (hopefully this will replace my Protec for DH) before I take it to the track.

Ha, so all I need to do to hot start it in the future is give you a call. Just give me a PUSH and I'm back in business.

If the rain lets up, I might go on another ride tomorrow. If so, I might stop by, that is if you want to ride it again.

Sick bike Sanjay! BTW, Matias at Crank Brothers told me he rode the other day with you and Amy.
Yeah, that was definetly a great ride. I rode 3 trails that I had never ridden before. It was a funny ride. Amy and myself were the onles on SPD pedals. Amy has been having some problems unclipping lately de to either too high of release tension, or mud in her cleats. Everybody was trying to sell he on a set of Candy's or Mallets.
I am letting her borrow those Mallets I got from right now to see if she likes them and wants to get her own set.

Sanjay,

Siiiick bike! Goldspeed tires are the shizbot. We actually did some posters and ads for those tires a while back. Most people don't know it but Maxxis has the widest range of motard tires out of any brand.

Did you just come to SB for the day or are you still there? I just got into town last night and plan to ride some XC since I sold my big bike. Romero is one of my fave's, such a fun trail! If you are still around SB hit me up...

Be safe on that thing, glad to know you will most likely be sporting a quality lid soon.

Nice new ride there Sanjay... I have been eyballing the Gas Gas Supermoto bike myself... The sweet thing with the supermoto bikes is that when you get into the real twisty canyons, even your R1 can get dropped... At least untill you find a decent straight away...

Sean, I was only in SB for the day. I was up there with a friend who had to work today, so we could only ride for the day. What did you wind up riding today? The conditions at Romero were so good due to the recent rains. The top was very foggy though, and at times, visability was less than 25ft.

I saw that picture when I checked Litter out. Wasn't that taken the same day I had the gallon of booze? I'm suprised it isn't in the picture, and it doesn't look like I'm tippsy yet.

Yeah, this bike is all weird. Notice the chain is on the right side and the pipe come around from the left. Weird Euros.
