I never understood the point of an adjustable rear shock.
sorry to break this to you, but both ideas are dumb. fox tried a talas shock a little while back and im pretty sure it didnt work as well as they had hoped. and a 40 with the talas system is dumb because i cant think of a situation where you would really need to adjust the travel of a 40 on the fly. it is a dh race fork after all...

I like the idea. I don't think it has too many practical trail applications but it would be awesome if after a ride you could hit a button and have your bike slammed to the ground chopper style for the ride back home through the 'hood.
