Hey everyone, I picked up a new Manitou Gold Label Series 2 80mm fork today, so I thought I would share my bike.

    2007 P2-como
    gold label
front Double Track laced to Specialized hub---being replaced soon.
1st gen Deity bar and stem combo
    Macneil seat and post combo
Primo Powerbites W/ Shadow Crowgora 30t sprocket
    Specialized lo-pro mag petals.
    BB5
    Specialized assault tires.
    32.76 lbs

First impressions riding around were awsome, it's so stiff and 2 lbs lighter then my DJ3, it felt awsome. I'll get a good review when it gets a good ride in.

do you ride with your shirt unbuttoned and the gold-links flyin' out the front?
    member's only?

haha, sick ride. Wish I had an indoor mini to shred too.

I like the old plastic bmx seat too. Gots the speed vents!

I like the CrMo frames so much better than the Al. I think the Al frames look rediculously ugly. Nice gold on gold action.

The Cromo frames are awsome, aside from the weight.

    Thanks for the comments!

Satori, that's always how I roll.

the only downside to the cromo frames other then weight is you cant turndown on them versus the aluminum one you can, but i prefer cromo.

I'm actually supprised at the color, it's super sexy in real life.

Scag, you have a P1 that you painted correct, I think I remember it.

    TGR it's a Transition TOP.

Z.1 drop off that's being replaced by a Argyle, Raceface Atlas crankset, Pimp rear wheel laced to a bulb and some other stuff.

Why can't you turn down on them? Is it because the TT is in the way?

    Updated pics on first page.

After a sesh on the mini ramp i'm in love, the fork rides so smooth and it's easy to adapt to.

nice upgrades... i almost got a gold label for my Black Market, but i lowered my zocchi instead. Alot of riders have gold labels at my trails. They seem to love em. best of luck w/it.
