that fish is called a crappie, that is average size for them in our water here on the estate. They are incredibly good eating. they dont get really huge. we do release everything we catch. we also use barbless hooks for the fishes safety and ours.

friday is my last day at this crap job that they fired me from. in the meantime, i have become invisible while everyone gets ready to go off to the national conference (picture it - hundreds of drunk librarians trying to dance to 70s music). the only thing keeping me sane is the stack of new magazines i bought at the bookstore and the fact that at 4:00 i will be drinking a nice cold newcastle draft waiting on my girls to show up.
