I need a flat flush headset

I thought I posted this earlier, but it's nowhere to be found.

I have a 1.5 fork and 1.5 headtube. I bought a fork that is about 1/4 - 1/2 inch from hitting the top of my neck. So, I was looking for a no stack off of some recomendations, they only make these as a reducer (that I have found anyway). I am stuck, short of buying a new fork.

So, I just want to get the flatest, flushest headset that will give me a lower rise so maybe I can fit my new "used" fork in. I figured that you dudes might have some good recomendations.

Thanks.

At this point I would, it is approx $150 to get new uppers. The biggest problem with that is Manitou has recently moved to Wisco, they are not doing great w/cs. I am so close to having my **** fit, that I would rather spend $50 and get a new headset, rather than $150 and more labor, plus doing something I've never done before (work on a suspension fork).

Flush headsets can only be used with 1 1/8" forks, because there isn't enough room for a 1.5" fork and the bearings in the head tube.

There are some headsets that are shorter than others, but I don't think you're going to find anything that will net you almost a half inch of height. Sorry.

Thanks for the info. As disapointing as it is, I think I"m going to have to try to get new uppers, or a new fork, whichever takes less time. Uggh.

Honestly give HB Suspension a call. They have actually gotten the ball rolling again for the most part. Granted I personally liked dealing with Bobby at Manitou, the new guys they have working there seem to be getting the whole shop running quite smoothly again.
