So, what do you think I should do for my girlfriend when you blow off plans to go shopping (bed, bath and beyond) with her to do something with your family (that rarely ever plans anything)?

I need something stat. I need something to help show her I care (besides telling her I do, that doesn't work very well...).

I have been on a streak of selfish moves and just not thinking things through all the way.

Please help me.

Thanks for the advice. We went out to a baseball game today and visited her mom. She's a huge baseball fan so it was perfect and she hardly every makes it out to visit her mom (she lives a few hours away).

What does she like? Since you blew her off, you might want to plan another shopping trip with her and not blow her off this time?
