ok here is my problem, some how i've got into the habit of not leaving a finger/fingers on the brake levers. This has caused me to crash a few times. It doesn't matter what kind of riding i'm doing(FR,DH,DJ,street). What can i do to help the situation? I'm using SIC Chase/LL bars and Avid SD7 levers.

man, im the exact opposite. i ride with my fingers on the brakes alway. not actually using them, just hovering over them. maybe just try doing that?

Adjust your lever reach closer to the bar, it will be more comfortable. But make sure that you can't squish your own fingies with the lever.

I'm the opposite too. For street, I always have a finger on the rear brake.
