I have to write a short paper (3-5) pages for my Human Sexuality class. I can't decide what to do it on, there is soo much to write on. Any ideas?

I'm supposed to focus on the chapters on Sexual Disfunctions; Sexually Transmitted Infections; Atypical Sexual Variations; Sexual coercion; and the world of commercial sex.

Its pretty open to interpritation of what I can write on.

Here ya go, you can address gender stereotyping and the roles that they create. You could then go into the issue of commercials and media dictating sexual stereotyping and the gender roles that that they cause.

Atypical sexual variations could be vary interesting. You could easily get 3-5 pages out of anything, but depending on your prof, SK6's idea might appeal to him/her more. If it's a her, definately choose that.

No way! If your prof is a "her", I'd personally try my best to embarrass her the best I can. Go w/ atypical sexual variations, use something like the Kama Sutra as your key reference and "expound" upon that (there are several other books on the same genera). You CAN also work in sexual stereotypes as a subtopic of this. And if she's hawt, then you might get... ok, I guess that's pushing it a bit w/ that thought…hehe
On a slight tangent, BigMike, every time I see your avatar I'm reminded of the "shocker" so maybe you can throw that into your paper as well

Its a her, but she is VERY open minded. Easily the best professor I've had so far. I'm taking another class with her next semester to finish out my college career.

I agree, thats kinda why I don't want to go that way with it, because I know i'd end up writing like 15 pages on it without flinching. I think with the porn thing, if I make it concice enough, I can narrow it to 5 pages

yeah sounds like a good plan. it was funny when i was in school, as a soc major, when i started 5 pages looked long, took me forever, by the time i left i was kinda pissed when i got a five page paper, wasnt sure i could keep it that short

here's a thought. What about minor girls, sexuality and the tendency for girls to act out sexually when they come from homes with absent ( literally or figuratively) or emotionally unavailable fathers? This is has been studied, and unfortunately the behavior patterns are pretty predictable....

Write one page on whatever you choose, then 'stick' the next 2-4 pages together to it in a big mess. Guarantee she doesn't read it too closely.

Plus, your DNA sample will be readily and helpfully available to the investigators and the sex-crime registration officials.
