...and it wasn't a half bad day as January in Vermont goes, warm enough to ride but not so warm that the gravel roads start thawing and turn into chloride saturated goo, so I decided to ride into town.

Somehow it turned into a twenty mile ride on gravel, pavement and snowy doubletrack including about 2,100 feet of climbing.

I even remembered to get the papers.

I bet it was uphill both ways too, and you didn't have shoes.

It felt like it was uphill both ways along about the end of the ride.

I rode today too. It was hard going. Keep it up.

Me three. We had a couple of inches, but we went for a trail ride anyway. It was fun, but hard.

:thumb: We rode in the snow the other day too and it was tough, but well worth it!

The snow riding yesterday was amazingly easy - three inches of uncompressed snow on top of dirt, leaves and ice.

Sunlight was enough to turn the top 1/4" of mud/clay to a fine paste, the 1" or so of champagne powder on top just added some beauty.
A couple of the downhills were made tough by the fact that it was impossible to stay on the crown of the double track, and that level pedals barely cleared the crown...
