i think your sarcasm detector is off. I was being honest...from a mfg standpoint it makes sense to keep the same headtube across the line, or at least for most samples.

Well a same ht across the board does make sense but what about the TR250 and TR450? Don't they have 1.5 ht? So why not on the new BR?

No the 450, 250, covert, double, bank, etc...all have tapered...

I read somewhere they are converting to a ZS style bearing accross the board as well...It just makes sense from a manufacturing perspective to use like parts where possible.

I have been waiting for this one. It might finally be time to get a new trail bike to compliment my blindside. I used to have a '06 BR and i've seriously regretted selling it. One fun bike!
