Soma Smoothie in orange.

I know it's a road frame and should be in a different forum, but I am lightening my tone. I am also going to pick up my Kenda Kinetics after work.

I approve! :thumb:

It's certainly not the geometry for me. Do you have a longer upperbody than lower body?
I think so. 6' tall with a 31" inseam.

you should get measured before spending money, but yeah, you definitely need a longer top-tube than S-T.

I'm 5'10" with a 32.5" inseam.

I assume, you're not measuring your inseam from your pants?

Current frame is 56 cm center to center, so I am thinking the Smoothie will work.

how about mrazek's new road frame, the Boh RD? That's some droolwork for ya right there...would be better if it were 853 though.

Ouch.

There's what, a foot drop from saddle to hoods? My Lumbar-Sacral screams in protest already.

And what sort of monkey business is the rr brake cable routing up to on the glide side?

I have one of their geared MTB frames, the "Groove," and hot damn, it's a really great ride. I had always wanted a steel frame, 853 preferably, but I could not pass up the price on this thing. I was pleasantly surprised, nice welds, great color, nice build. The downsides were kinda cheap paint (very easily chipped, and the disc mount wasn't exactly prefect, needed a little bending and shimming to fit.
Funny story, I finally bought an 853 frame, a new Salsa, also in a 21", but it was just too big. No standover room for me, so I never got to ride it...gotta sell it off, and try and recoup some of the investment.
But that Soma was a great buy, I love that thing!

Looks like he can't get me the Soma for a good gig. He can get me a MASI for $325 with an 853 frame. Looks like Haro makes them now. Anyone got feedback on one?

hahahahaha. . . how can I not strike at bait like that?

Never had orange. Test Tube, Flying Eyeball, Purple gel ("windowpane"? - I think it was bunk), and another that had something to do w/spiders but I can't remember very well.

Ever get liquid? Something I wanted to try way back when.

I tried all sorts of craziness back in the day, but having miraculously emerged from the other end of the vortex relatively unscathed, I've decided against ever dabbling in it again. To answer your question, though, I never personally owned a bottle of liquid but had a friend share several drips off his one night. The highlight of the evening was taking a piss and seeing six different streams emerge from different points of my anatomy to merge thunderously in the Marriott Executive Suite toilet's blue water. My friends found me later cackling like a lunatic in the coat closet while waving the portable hair dryer stretched from the bathroom.

What? I'd have thought an epicurian like yourself would've sprung for the 400tc. :)

Not many manufactureres make bright orange sheets...so you have to take what they have...here is the description from the Macy's site:

Tommy Hilfiger presents these soft, 200-thread-count combed cotton sheets in a range of vivid colors. Fabric becomes more luxuriously soft with every wash.

They are indeed luxurious and soft...

200? We just got some sheets that are 1000 thread count.

Damn...I cannot imagine the softness...The only other bright orange I found were a blend...parish the thought! I would rather iron the part of the sheet that is exposed than sleep on a blend!

I have some other sheets from Pottery Barn that are 200 ct also...they are super soft...

dh g has proven repeatedly that she can smack me down in her sleep while composing a symphony.

Her statement about silkworms remind me of detractors of honey who refer to it as bee poop. Anatomically incorrect.

Anyway, as we know (I hope), none of this commentary is particularly serious, and if dh G get's offended, she'll simply rip my face off. :D
