First attempt at a recording.
So, I found a new insanity buffer. I was on hold with CarMax for 20 minutes, listening to their shitty hold music. So I put my amp on really low with a bunch of distortion, and just jammed to it. Was kinda fun, actually. Super simple and repetitive, so easy to practice figures. I recommend it.
So, I just got that new custom build, and then a white whale bass popped up for sale. It was a big pill to swallow, but I had to know.
I just started playing bass and I have no clue what these are. What am I looking at?
The mini is a customized Miezo. 18” scale, so up about an octave. From an E-C tuning… except I’ve tuned down a few steps
The red fretless is an F Bass BNF5. That slab of ebony is amazing. It’s not the greatest bass sound ever, but it’s very good, and super smooth. I love the design, and the red and black combo killed me.
…now to sell off a few items to help offset the cost.

My collaborator got the audio boiled down to this, for anyone looking to listen without being on YT. I’m only partially through listening, but generally happy with the result. It was a long session with the usual assortment of highs and lows.
