trying to figure out if the AM wheels are strong/burly enough for me. im 220lbs and ride fairly hard on my 6" bike.
i just sold the DH wheelset i had on my AM bike so either choice will be a huge weight drop, but the AM wheels are 150grams lighter then the EN wheelset. there really is only a 2mm width difference b/w the two rims.

have any bigger riders had any experience on the AM wheels?

I have both. The Enduros are really light DH wheels. The AM are strong XC wheels. With you weight and one bike do it all attitude I'd go for the Enduros.

Enduros. I'm 165 and have dented my enduro rims so the AM's wouldn't stand a chance.

That said I've been really happy with the enduro wheelset. I've had them on two bikes and nearly two years of constant thrashing on big-bike terrain and only have a few dents and a couple broken spokes to show for it.

thanks all. i figured the AM's were just slightly beefed up XC wheels. i also thought about getting a EN rear and AM front but then i looked at all my other front wheels that i have and see they get abused just as much as all the rear wheels i have.
