I hadn't read about the harassment stuff before I posted above. Tony is right. Do not give fat crotch boy any viagra though. Wait, stockings, Viagra, do you work with konabumm??? Is konabumm really a fatty bo batty???

I've dealt with this type of crap before as a supervisor. This guy obviously has very real behavior disorder. I can just about guarantee his behavior won't change no matter what you do or say. The important thing is to stay professional yourself about the situation and document everything with his knowledge so you can fire him with cause. Then he can take his disgusting ass to some other unfortunate office.

Is your office fairly firm about breaks? Does he take extra breaks, or extra long breaks to stuff his face? Document it.

Can you arrange for a male co-worker, especially one who is in some way a superior to him, to coincidentally observe him sexually harrassing you? Even better if he gets snotty when you politely tell him to act a bit more professionally in the office.

Don't get mad and yell at him, the one who loses their cool first loses major credibility.

Get other people to complain about him and document it. You don't want to just have a pissing match between you and him.

Does he actually do anything worthwhile?

Of course, the ex-lax snax would be fun too, but he could use that to his advantage if he knows what's up or who is responsible. You don't want to be documented as harrassing him.

Documentation, documentation, documentation. Before you do or say anything to him start jotting down things. I would even do this before you go to your boss and have a chat with him -- which you should definitely do sooner rather than later. If you approach by yourself incorrectly, you could wind up on the wrong end of a harrassment suit. The harrassment thing is serious and should be handled totally professionally and by the book. As for the snack fetish, that's a tougher call. You could say something to him or leave him an anonymous note, but he is likely not going to be receptive to anything subtle. Anything unsubtle would suddenly make you the bad guy. I would frankly leave that one alone. If you do pursue the harrassment angle the last thing you want is for this guy to think he is being ganged up on and/or unjustly persecuted for being overweight.

Good luck

The harrassment thing right now isn't a big issue to me. I get worse from the old men that sometimes attend the classes I teach. I've long since stopped wearing suits with skirts ;).
I also am well aware of how serious that is - and at this time at least, I'm not prepared to bring it up, though I am documenting and verifying his behavior with the other women in the office.
"officially" I've decided to discuss with the head of our department the issue with the snacks, the lazy/uncaring attitude he portrays to all employees below the executive director level (aka - owners of the company), and his frequent time spent playing on the internet and chit chatting with his wife on the phone/IM...

Unfortunately - he's very qualified for the position we hired him to do, more so than anyone else we interviewed or looked at. And, for me to move up the company ladder, I need him, or someone like him, to fill the gap I'm leaving. They actually hired two people to split my old role so I could take on a more fun role (that is proving challenging but exciting).

The food thing - meh - in the end it may become something we all just giggle over...;) but, I kinda miss having a piece of dark chocolate mid-afternoon...

Wha??? Did I make another oops or something? Last time I said something that received a response like that a friend had to take me aside and splain things.

So splain!

no, the statement is innocent. but the easily amused (read: me) can come up with alternate readings of it when it's taken out of context...

Yeah... I would handle the over eating thing yourself, or see if you can get support from other co workers. As for the sexual herass. Id take that to the higher ups... Although they maybe will take it to serious? Just be clear about everything.
