I just bought a bike with an unknown hub. Anybody recognize it?

Same shape as an American Classic or WTB, but that could be just about any hub.

Yeah that kind of what I was trying to figure out. Plain silver and no other markings. I got it on a 2003 banshee scream. But it was an aftermarket wheel. This guy isn't sure as it was free (sponsored) and I picked up the bike off of him cheap cause he isn't allowed to ride it anymore (now fully sponsored by mountain cycles)...

oh well...I was just hoping to find out more about it.

Your rotor is backwards. Sorry don't recognize the hub though.

Thanks. I will switch it around when I get it back. haha. I will see if I can get 50$ for a backwards rotor
