I get home today from work, and wife gives me an enlistment card/letter from the US Marines for Alaina.

Tomorrow is 12 YEARS she's been in Heaven, and getting this opened up so many wounds. I called the 800-number, get "Robert" on the line, begin to tell him my reason for calling, and as I was getting ready to give my address so they could stop sending info, he hangs up on me. Now I'm pissed. I try to call back, and "click", the line goes dead. What? Scared to talk to me, Robert??? Yes, my blood pressure shot up.

Took my Aussie Shepherd out for his walk, calmed down, and came here to fume, as I know the RM collective understands. I will stop by their local office to make sure they remove Alaina's name and rat on Robert. And I will be polite, difficult as it will be.

Now, about the balloon release I'm planning at 7:35 a.m. for Alaina..............

Worked on my bike (went back to 3x9 from1x9. Yes, I'm still old-school), and rode the loop behind the schools. Very satisfying.......... and calming.
