This is the 'hood where Da Peach and I grew up. doesn't get more Leave it Beaver than this place. ...I mean look at the quaint little town hall!

I am pretty blown away by the whole thing.

I grew up in Pointe Claire and Dorval, and I knew a couple of guys that offed themselves in their teens. And more than a couple that offed themselves by mistake. S**t happens everywhere. There was more crazy stuff going on in the West Island than downtown.

Body in Dumpster could be suicide


Investigators are "leaning toward" calling Sunday's discovery of a corpse in a Baie d'Urfe Dumpster the result of a suicide, police said. Firefighters found a body, believed to be that of a man in his late 30s who lived in the east end and whose vehicle was nearby, about 10:30 p.m., after they extinguished a blaze behind a strip mall.

This makes more sense. Damned east-ender....
