Not really. It's making light of some christians morbid fascination with portraying Jesus's death scene and totally ignoring the rest of his life, and his message. Now Heath Sheratt using a picture of jesus on a cross as an avatar, that's blastphemous. Using that image to represent yourself online is the same as taking the lords name in vain.
