....leash that bad boy or leave 'em in the back yard. In the last section of our loop today, a BMX kid was passing us on the other side; he was trailed by his cute little doggie who immediately turned tail and _hauled ass_ back down the trail (the way he had just come/we were going). Not sure if the kid ever caught him, but he ran a good mile-and-a-half in front of us...last I saw he ran up into the woods, presumably to be eaten by a bear or something.
