Hi!

I have a IronHorse MkIII Expert 2005 and wanted to upgrade the seatpost this year since it's the basic Easton one. EA30 I think. It has a setback of 25mm and my saddle is all the way toward the back on its rails. I would prefer to avoid a carbon one as I use my quick release now and then and this could damage and weaken the post. It depends where I ride. However I cannot seem to find a good seatpost with a 25mm setback. Thomson setback (with the bend) is 16mm. Non-carbon Easton ones have 10mm except for the one I have. I'm trying to find the information about Ritchey WCS but I haven't succeeded yet. If you have the data I'm all ears.

My question do you have another suggestion? A different saddle with longer rails? A brand I haven't considered?

I'd like to avoid using a longer stem as this may alter my riding position. Right now I'm quite comfortable.

Thanks,
Sylvain
