So yet another bike that I am considering... yeah, like I need to throw this into the mix  Has anyone ridden one of these puppies yet? I know the last few year's Iron Horses have been a bit flexy, how about this? Also, does a 596.9 mm effective top tube seem really long to anyone else? Other than that the geometry seems spot on for me, shorter wheelbase, longer cockpit, low bb... I just really came across these things and I'm really interested. I don't even have a clue when they are going to be out. So tell me what ya think, the spec is incredible and it looks sick (green paint aside) Thanks

Well it depens on how tall you are, where you ride, how you ride, what you ride etc. I am 6.1 and the 17" does not feel long to me it for some strange and unexplained reason felt shorter than my current Orange 222 which has the same tt length. I will buy the 17". I am not sure if the protos that I was on has the same tt as the production bikes.

Top tube lenght on the Sunday is literally a representation of where the seat is in relation to the head tube. Its not a measure of wheelbase or the distance of the front wheel to the bottom bracket center. The regular size Sunday is a true regular, and will fit the majority of riders. We took advantage of the fact that we run I beam seatposts, and that they give a wide adjustment range. That way the frames can fit a wider range of rider heights/ torso lengths with less frame sizes. I am 5'11", and the regular size fits me perfect with the seat set up dead on center, at around bar height, and my stem at 45-55 depending on the fork height. There are some pictures of my bike this year online somewhere.

If you rode mine (the yellow one), the tt is shorter than the production one will be. The others (black ones) should be the same as production. Hope this helps.

I have been on Georg's and Todd's bikes so 17" is the rigth one. By the way look at this fool I found. He must be some crazy Iron Horse groupie.

Thanks for all the info, that was my main issue with the bike was the effective top tube length. It is just almost 20mm longer than my Orange which seems kind of odd. I guess I'm going to have to try one before I get serious about buying one (obviously) Thanks.
