At Il aeroporto. A solid 50/50 mix glad to be going home vs sad to be going home. Rome was "meh", but over all trip was rad. Had an 11/10 meal last night and 9/10 wine, from the place we left the camera. Also got camera back. 11/10 service. Anybody ever goes to Rome, I have a restaurant to recommend. Probably a great night to end on. I miss my dog. Now 18+ hours of airplanes. :dead:

kind of nice sleeping in. Had a good win yesterday. I got the GM of the Paratransit agency to admit that the reason our drivers were running late was their dispatchers poor routing and pilling on clients making for impossible time frames. They are going to have a retraining session and have their folks do a rid along so that they can understand what it takes to transport the elderly and handicapped time wise.

Coffee , eats and off to the office

My office smells like laundry for some reason. I rode the Lorax to work today which makes 18/20 days on a bicycle this month for me... friends I ride with regularly are noticing the increase in uphill speediness already. Must be something to this "training" thing... I mean I'm not training but I'm riding a lot, and getting faster. Weird. Also, girlfriend is gonna have surgery, but her insurance is dictatoring who can perform said surgery. She's a nurse, so the hospital group she works for wants to keep it "in house" or they're gonna pile on the "not gonna pay for thats" something hard. Fucking insurance in this country pisses me off.

@Toshi do you know any good ortho docs that can stick a rotationally misaligned radius back together, who work in the SCL Health system? The doc at Panorama (whom we really liked) said it should be a pretty straight-forward surgery and any hand ortho doc would do a fine job.

Otherwise, slacking at work and then doing some volunteering this evening. Tomorrow is ride then sushi after work. Friday is find time for a ride, then Friday Fish Fry!

Sorry, Evan, I don't know any orthos other than the pediatric orthopod who fixed up my kid's trigger thumb.

I had a similar issue with series of old injuries to the groin that was keeping me off the bike, in the space of 6 months I had at least a dozen different tests and specialist referrals but could not get approval for a simple outpatient procedure. I ended up paying out of pocket which was highly annoying but I got 15% off for paying upfront... hopefully she works for a good system that will treat her right despite insurance issues.

Perhaps, plan is to spend tomorrow at Glendo State Park and either camp there and keep riding or cruise west through Dubois. Gonna be watching the weather and deciding where to go on the fly. Spring bike trips through the Rocky Mtns....
