In hell. Welcome!
For todays awkward workplace moment the lead for the team in India I work with called me his guiding light.

Not sure if that was a cultural miscommunication, blatant brown nosing, or if I have finally ascended as a deity.
What do they need?

There was a report on the summer olympic's Canon center. One pic showed a room with 100s of 600 mm F4 lenses.

I've got a Nikon 200-500 F/5.6 as my big lens and it's great. Never needed or wanted anything larger or faster. Those big lenses get real expensive real fast, so you better actually need it.
The Sony 200-600 is nearly as big as the 600 prime but when I use my a6600 body (APSC sensor)it comes out to 300-900 and if a need to and have enough light I can use clear image zoom and effectively get up to 1100, awesome for wildlife and sporting events.

Is your neighbor hot?
Unfortunately no, but I do have the most popular perch in the back yard.

When I was in high school my mother attempted to teach me to drive, I decided hell no, later got instructed in a sandpit by my drinking buddies.

So about that "we have control of our school district..." I just got this text:

Due to staff absences, tomorrow (Thursday, 2/3) will be a NO STUDENT DAY in DCSD Schools. See your email for details.

Edit: Reasoning and context:

I learned on the Farm via tractors on the hay operations around 10-11 years old, doubt that happens much anymore
My dad taught me to drive when I was 12 in a '78 K5 blazer in Allegheny national forest on logging roads. It wasn't until I was much older that he explained it was in case he had a seizure and I had to drive him out.

I did the same with my kiddo when she was a pre teen, wasn't for seizure's but we were always doing activities that could result in some major injuries IE; shooting, climbing, cycling, surfing, kayaking etc.

I bought a Sigma 150-600 on sale last year because the Canon 100-500 is ridiculous money and vaporware. Nicely complements the 100-400 and 800 depending on where I shoot wildlife.
