So this Sat. I was getting ready to head out on a training ride with my teammates and Kim told me that she was going to take little Mancil to hit up some yard sales. I asked her to keep an eye out of any "old" road bikes. I would like to restore one.

So a few hours later I get home and I see a bike seat peaking out from the window of her CRV. I'm thinking to myself there is no way she found a cool bike.

Well here is want she bought

She paid a wooping $13 SWEET.....

I put a chain on it and everything works..

Kimberly gets Great Wife points for this!!!!

I'm not sure about the fork. But they said the frame was 94
That's sweet! I would agree that its a '94. I still have my '94 Lava Dome. I REALLY wanted the Cinder Cone because I loved the burnt orange color, but could only afford the Lava Dome at the time. I think I might still have their '94 catalog laying around.

$13???? I hate you.

edit: I have plans to turn my Lava Dome into a 1x9, and I think you should do the same. But first, you need to get rid of that fork and replace it with a Kona Project 2 rigid fork.
