I have never even been to a mountain bike event before, much less entered one, but that is about to change. I have made a commitment to ride in this:

I don't know how many miles I'll be able to log, but I'm pretty stoked about the whole thing. Me and another guy from work are putting a little team together. He rode 231 miles by himself in last year's event with ZERO training. His goal is 300 miles this year and he wants to be on the bike all 24 hours. I'll be lucky to do 20 miles.

Any advice or tips?
