If your shoulder was sitting half-way out of socket you wouldn't be able to move it. If you have loose tendons and ligaments, that is a different description. For your shoulder to be half-way out of joint you would not even be able to push against your bars to stop on your fixie.

*For context, I have a permanently separated clavical and have ripped both shoulders out of joint multiple times. I can on demand pull my left shoulder out of joint - which blows. I wake up with a dislocated shoulder probably 2x per month.

I don't know a thing about it. All I know is my chiropractor did some Xrays 2 or 3 years ago, saw my shoulder was sitting funny. Got it scanned, like you were saying loose tendons, it pops and crackles but other than that isn't a huge issue, beyond my shoulding sitting a little lower than the other

I know my logic is backwards when it comes to tire size, notice how I also agreed that bigger tires mean worse mileage. I was just pointing out my math was correct about what direction the speedo was off

Chiropractor /= Doctor - I'd still push to see an orthopedic doc, as they are bound by the Hippocratic oath to do no harm.
