Well, I just finished up my portfolio review, and I'M DONE FOR THE SEMESTER!!

Looks like days of riding and hanging out for me!

Well, until I start work on June 1 :(

This semester kicked my a$$! and I only ended up with a 2.8 :( Oh well, at least my overall GPA is still over a 3. barely, but its over a 3 :)

And in a year, nobody will give 2 sh!ts what your GPA is anyway. Not that doing well in school isn't good or anything, but I have never put my GPA on anything, nor have I been asked what my GPA is.

Congrats on being done though, I have about a year left this time around :(

Guess I should have clarified. By "for a few months at least" I ment that I had to go back to school in a few months. Oh well, I'm halfway done with my college career!

Plus, that gives me some time to pull up my grades some :)

GPA is an interesting thing. Near the end of college and before you've found your first job, it can be the most important thing in the world. After a few years and maybe a job or two, your gpa doesn't do squat unless you plan on grad school. Why does everybody tell you gpa doesn't matter? A couple reasons pop into my head, the people who are telling you that never had a good gpa to begin with and we sometimes forget how important it was to land that first job. Keep up the good work dude.

Keep up the good work. I'm gonna see if I can scratch this semester out with a 4.0, not looking good though, I've got a B+ in one class :(

I feel ya man, im just in the process of moving out.

College is crazy stuff. So much different then highschool. Im not sure if I am gonna be able to make it through a whole summer at home..... Oh well, got plenty of bike comps to keep me occupied.

I still stick to the idealistic view that GPAs dont matter that much - its really only important to learn a lot. However, GPA seems to follow suit when i work hard and learn a lot in a class - especially now that busy work is kept to a minimum in college.

Back to cleaning......

GPA matters for getting into grad school, but letters of rec matter alot as well.

Its interesting, once you get into grad school, grades arent that big a deal. Its mainly learning the material, once you pass your qualifier exams, grades are pretty much gone. Alot of professors in grad schools dont even give out Cs. Lowest some go is a b-.

my girlfriend just got done doing interviews with the Big 4 accounting firms. all the PPA students had to put their SAT scores on their resumes. talk about your past coming to haunt you. her GPA is like a 3.8.

i don't really give 2 ****s about my GPA (funny, though, my first semester GPA was a 1.6. a tenth of a point from being kicked out of school. that semester was the low point of my life). my major is based on the fact that it will get me out of school the quickest. isn't that sad?

ugh, i have yet to start finals. and i move out of my apartment the day after my last final. and i leave for TX4000 10 days after that.
