i'm going to the woodward/atomlab super session!! need to paint my bike now.

what bike color?

  • brown frame with baby blue fork/stem - kinky

  • white left side black right side - black and white cookie

  • a high/low two tone paint mid headtube to rear axle

  • frame stem one color but change at fork tips and rear end.

As much as I'd love to see an SE Racing color combo I voted for the hi/low which I'm thinking looks like the old CycleCraft fade combos. Babyblue to white or Light Green to white or Blue to purple could look cool. I'd check the CycleCraft's on VintageBMX.com.

For tires, I'd say Maxxis Holy Roller's in the 2.4F, 2.2R combo as my first choice. Or a Maxxis Holy Roller up front w/ a Kenda Kiniption in the back.

found a local powdercoater, $60 i'm taking it to them next week.
they didn't have a lot of colors, i didn't know the stuff goes bad.
i think they had a brown i liked, then maybe i'll get some vynal
color in there so i can switch it up when i want something different.
didn't think i needed all these brackets anymore.

no, i am running a disc. i somtimes do big stuff and like to get a few
run ins before i charge it.

I am goign to make a solid rotor so it will take some hits.

bcd solid rotor?? wanna make me one? what size are you gonna make em? iv been thinking of possible going to a 140 disc to tuck it up even more

yeah, i am thinking that too.

when i get one cnced i'll post some pics. might be a little heavy
but should break the hub befor you bend it.
