Are you limited to those 3 frames?

If you are stuck on those 3 frames then go with the '08 steelhead... no doubt.

If you're stuck with QRs, get something with vertical dropouts. You won't be able to keep the chain tight with a quick release.

My 2 cents: bolt-on kits are cheap, and so are used DJ frames.
    Check the classifieds.

I say ditch the QR and save up a bit more money. At least 400 will be good for a new frame.

The steelhead is better than the KHS for street... hands down.
