What a great, chill, town! Super bike friendly, very cool demographic, awesome scenery... I drove up from Phoenix with a friend on Thursday and we're cruising around between Denver, Boulder, Ft. Collins, and Estes Park. Did a little hiking around Rocky Mtn. NP yesterday and visited Red Rocks (OMFG) ... today, I dunno.

I guess my point to this post is just to let you locals know how jealous I am. Serious thoughts of relocating myself are swirling around my head...

Although you wrote...

...and now I'm condused.... did you ride?
Boulder is very bike friendly, compaired to most of the rest of the world. Bike paths in every direction, bike lanes where there aren't bike paths. MTB is a bit tough sometimes, but "Bike friendly" isn't a false claim

When you were at Red Rocks, you were 5 minutes (literally) from these trails:

And 10 minutes from this trail system:

Boulder is very bike friendly if you like riding on paved paths. The drivers around the area make it scary for road bikers. As for mtn biking, there aren't many places less friendly... all those mountains, and what, 2 legal trails in the area? Kamloops has similar geography and is what I would call biker friendly.
