I read somewhere that romic shocks don't actually fit that frame like they're supposed to. I mean, it doesn't get its max travel, or the leverage ratio is all messed up.

I never heard of that...all the M-pires I've seen have Romic shocks. Since Romic shocks have funny sizing (2.75/9) versus everyone else (2.75/8.75) all you'd have to do is move up the front shock mount, that's it.Funky Monk said:
