I apologise in advance for the huge pictures

Earlier this year my dad and I decided to redo the basment as a music playing/relaxing/music listening/reading room. When we started it was completely bare, with unfineshed walls and floors. To save money, and keep it sounding good for playing instruments we didn't use dry wall, and instead coverd the insulation with Fabric. For the flooring we used a large carpet we had for some of it, and wood laminate for the rest.

It is not quite finished, but is certainly getting there. Any thoughts or opinions are welcome.

Just finished out a room in my basement in Jan. Theater room. This is how it turned out. I have another room I am working on now the same size for my pool table. Good luck with yours.
