It took three weeks of 15 hour days (2 days off) to get my 200hr yoga teaching certificate.
I graduated 6 months to the day since I stopped drinking.
It was a tough 3-weeks with 5 hours of yoga & 2 hours of meditation on some days.
I studied at an ashram in the mountains at 8,600'. It was an experience that I wouldn't have had without changing my lifestyle. I feel I am in the best shape of my life now & in the best shape to tackle life.
I plan on volunteer teaching at an urban farm in town & doing some work-trade at some studios in town.
Super excited for this next chapter of my life.
Video will still be my bread & butter but hopefully my yoga practice will help supplement that one day.

some pics from the ashram...

Teaching my first class this week on friday!
It will be a donation based class in the Peace Garden at the urban farm. Two of my climbing buddies work there, so I should have at lease two folks show up.
God...i think I have assimilated to Boulder rather quickly. -__-
Also I am doing work trade for a studio in town trying to get my foot in the door there. I am building the studio owner a fence on her property. My Boulder experience has been weird. I guess that is typical for the town.

A friend that is a yoga teacher in Vegas is trying to get me to come out there & teach. Not sure though. Vegas has some crummy energy for me & am not sure I want to do it.

Nice. Maybe I can take one of my projects on tour to you. I'm composing music for a "sound bath" in July. Yoga beaches love sound baths.
