Is there anything I could use to improvise spacers for my cassette to only run one cog.

I've seen people use pieces of PVC pipe. I forget the size but it fit right over the freehub body.

seeing as i wasn't using my cassette anymore, i pushed the pins keeping the cogs and spacer together, out. i then used all the spacers from the cassette itself, and a few id machined out of aluminum.

1.5" headtube spacers would *almost* fit, I think actually. I've been looking for some carbon fibre ones to use myself.

i use the spacers from cassettes. if you ask nicely your bike shop will usually give them to you for nothing. they give the best adjustment of chainline as well.

i sandwich the chain between 2 bigger cogs to prevent it from jumping off
