Tricked you, you were probably thinking Dentduro.

Had a couple hair-line cracks on my last frame, decided to switch it out for an even cheaper cheaper crab-on frame. Has dual-dropouts for shorter wheelbase or 5.05 2XL tires. The shorter position is about .75" shorter than my last fatbike frame. I have 65 and 90mm Jina crab-on rim wheelsets for it. Got the frame clear coat with matte decals. Built it up last night and got the 2nd rear wheel built up for the longer 197mm axle hub this morning. New drivetrain, but many of the parts are from my old frame.

Now I'm putting my frame bags on (4) to make it heavy.

Got a nice little 5hr ride in today in the hills. Bike worked great. Little bit of foot-rub on the cranks. Put some tape over it. Got the drivetrain going smooth. This is my other wheelset, it has a Hope 197 hub with XTR cassette, 90mm rims and D5 tires. The one in the original post is my race-setup, DT 350 hub with minidriver and Hope cassette.

Was freaking warm, in the high 20s to low 30s. Can ride forever in these temps.

eBay special?
Ordered direct from XM Carbon Speed, they were having a bit of a sale. As chinese carbon fatbike frames go, they are one of the more legit operations, making one of the two most popular chinese carbon frames, in addition to the fat FS frame they make. I ordered right before the Chinese new-year, so I had to wait around 3 weeks or so and I wanted the clear coat over raw with matte graphics, rather than something else they had ready-to-go. I had a LaMere frame previously, which comes from a shop in Minnesota, but in reality, it's another chinese carbon fat frame. It's worked pretty well, but developed some cracks near the BB. I may be able to warranty it, but I have to send it in. I checked several of the local shops out and I was ready to fork over some money for a more expensive frame, but the test-ride bikes were out when I stopped by (Corvus) and despite giving them my name and number, they never called me back over several weeks (about having the test-ride bike in my size back). This one in particular was a $2300 frame/fork combo, the cheaper ones were more like $1800-2000 for the same at 907 bikes. So the XM was basically 1/4th the cost, plus, they all come from China anyway.
