California and New York are easy Democrat wins. The entire state of NY outside of NYC could vote for Bush, and Kerry would still take the state because of NYC.

Not disagreeing with that at all. I just find it damned irresponsible to report something with absolutely NO real data to back it up. Especially in light of the fact that at the time Bush had wont no less than 6 states that had gone to the Dems for the last 20+ years.

Again, I think the polls should open and close at the same time all across the country.
