I have heard you can get them for a great price, but am having a hella time finding one.

Good luck finding one on the cheap, Mine was stupid expensive, Not to mention the 40 dollar locking hitch pin and the 20 dollar lock cores you gotta buy to make it safe

Thats kinda the point of the cores, so they cant, At least not easily

i think a good deal on these things is hard to find... i sold a USED sportsworks 1 1/4 " transporter rack to a lt col in germany for 300 bucks... considering the shipping cost to europe he was pretty happy..

i would go for the thule (sportworks). they came up with the design, gotta support the original, especially now that it has been improved to be sturdier, have a locking feature, etc.

I've seen some on Ebay go for like $330 shipped. For me out of CA (saves sales tax) and the shipping price wasn't bad. $330 is alot less than any other site I've found so far...

I was hoping that for the 4th of July weekend they might have some of these (we pay the sales tax) sales going on. I know Performance does this every now and then. That'd make it worth it to pick one up locally vs. ordering it.

Yes with a QR wheel. The locks are meaningless.
