A RUMOR ABOUT A STARBUCKS OPENING IN LIZZIE BORDEN'S HOUSE GETS THE AXE.

THE OWNERS OF THE HOUSE IN MASSACHUSETTS WHERE LEGEND SAYS LIZZIE BORDEN KILLED HER PARENTS IN 1892 MIGHT WANT TO OPEN A COFFEE SHOP, TOO.

NOT IN LIZZIE'S HOUSE... IN THE CONNECTED PRINT SHOP.

THE OWNERS SAY A STARBUCKS WOULD DRAW BUSINESS FROM A NEW COURTHOUSE BEING BUILT ACROSS THE STREET.

OPPONENTS SAY EVEN THAT WOULD COMPROMISE THE INTEGRITY OF THE FALL RIVER, MASSACHUSETTS, HISTORICAL SITE.

NO WORD YET FROM STARBUCKS ABOUT THE PROPOSAL.

New Starbucks Opens In Rest Room Of Existing Starbucks

Starbucks bought out "Coffee People" after years of opening locations across the street from nearly every location. They have since shut them down since the purchase. A shame because Coffee People had great coffee.
