I have some very double-secret probation style insider info, and my sources tell me that Yeti will DEFINITELY be producing a DH bike for the '05 model year.

:D

If they've applied for a patent... shouldn't that be on file at the US Patent Office? I think you can access those files online... someone found Honda's patent application awhile ago and posted it here. Maybe someone can dig up some dirt.

My sources have also said that Yeti will have an '05 DH and supposedly has been completely redesigned. As for specifics, well I too am in the dark.
Not much help am I? Sorry.

sure enough. How long has KHS used that scissor linkage? I had it in my head they used two links that were close to parallel (they didnt cross at least). But mayby i just looked at it wrong.

with the yeti team mechanic at snowmass and he said he couldnt tell me anything but its gunna be a lot different and i said is it single pivot like the asx cause it looked like it had elevated stays even though it was covered and he said it isnt a single pivot. So i dono it could be something crazy>?

So after all this speculation and discussion and surmising, we've basically determined that:

1.) Yeti is definitely producing a DH bike for the '05 model year.
2.) And... yeah that's about it.

:D

I suppose your right zedro but you know what i meant. I personally think its gunna be a super high quality swinglink pivot thing like the ASX with more travel. It could be a totally new thing but from what i saw at snowmass it didnt look too outrageous even though it was covered. I dont even think graves was testing it, all i saw of him was on the DH9 it was one of the 100s of other yeti riders on it that i could not distiunguish.
