I have a job interview tomorrow for a tech company, and I was procastinating on brushing up on some of my weaker skills.
Anyway, I just called a buddy of mine, who is a functioning alcoholic, and he told me he has quit drinking and smoking since visiting me earlier in the month.
He was telling me about the improvements in his life, but the biggest thing was chatting to a sober friend. Anyone who has an alcoholic in their life can tell you how maddening even the basic conversations can be.
His changeover was inspiring, and I just finished 3 hours of tech study thanks to him. I got give a shout out to my friend for ending his addictions.
